Health Office
Our school nurse will be available for students, parents, and staff during virtual office hours to address health-related questions or concerns. TB Risk Assessments will also be available for teachers, coaches, and volunteers. A driver's license or ID must be shown during the virtual office visit.
HEALTH OFFICE SERVICES GUIDELINES
- Students must not use their cell/mobile phones to request a parent/guardian to pick them up.
- Students who are ill and need to go home during the school day must first be seen by the school nurse, health tech, or administrator, who will notify the parent.
- The Health Office is a “NO Mobile/Cell Phone Zone.” Students are not allowed use of phones while in the Health Office.
- All medications must be given by the site designee(s). This includes prescriptions, antibiotics, cold medicines, allergy medication, etc. Appropriate paperwork must be completed by a California licensed physician and signed by the student's parent/guardian.
- There are no walk-ins allowed during instructional time or passing period - a pass to the Health Office must be issued by the classroom teacher, School Counselor or Administrator.
- Please be sure to have a completed permission form on file each school year.
COVID-19 INFORMATION
- There is no COVID testing at the school site or Health Office.
- COVID test kits are available in the Health Office for at home use.
