Dear Students and Parents,
You may have heard the news that Principal Olivero has officially announced his retirement. His last day will be July 1st. We're sad to lose him as our principal and will miss his leadership. At the same time, we're happy for him as he begins his next adventure and we're deeply grateful for his service to the students at UC High.
Please read Area Superintendent, Dr. Erin Richison's Letter to the UCHS Community. In short, Dr. Richison shares that the principal vacancy has been posted and candidates are now submitting their applications. We as a school community will play an important role in the selection and interview process, and active participation from students is critical!
Students and Parents can participate in any of the following ways:
- Share your feedback about what experience, skills, and qualities you envision for our next leader by completing the Leadership Input Survey This is DUE by Monday 5/17.
- Attend the Student Input Session via Zoom on Wednesday 5/12 from 2:30-3:15PM to share your feedback.
- Attend the Parent and Community Input Session Wednesday 5/12 from 3:45-4:30 PM
- Request to participate in the Community Panel Interviews on Wednesday 5/19. Times will be announced later.
We encourage you to participate in some way as this is an important process for selecting your next Principal at UCHS. Thank you!
